Your CV has about six seconds to earn a longer look. Most CVs fail that test, not because the candidate is weak, but because the document hides the signal in noise.
Lead with impact, not duties
Recruiters skim for outcomes. Replace "responsible for X" with "shipped X, which led to Y".
- Instead of "managed a design system", write "built a design system adopted by 4 teams, cutting handoff time by a third".
- Instead of "worked on marketing", write "ran a channel that grew signups 40% quarter over quarter".
Match the language of the role
Job descriptions are written in the hiring team's vocabulary. Mirror it. If the posting says "creative technologist", do not call yourself a "multidisciplinary maker". Use their words.
One page is enough
Unless you have fifteen years of hard-to-summarise experience, keep it to a page. Every line that is not helping you is hurting you.
